Meet this week's BCU Featured Stylist! The variety and richness of Angela's color work caught my eye!

+How long have you been doing hair? 
I started doing hair right out of high school when I was 18 years old, worked my way up to managing a salon and have been behind the chair for 12 years.

+Tell me about yourself. Are you a salon owner? Booth renter? Commission stylist? What is your specialty behind the chair. What are your goals?
I'm a commission stylist and my specialties include blonding + balayage + rich background colors. I thrive to create an atmosphere where my clients can sit back, relax, and leave with a smile on their face.

+What's been the best advice you have ever received?
Best advice I have received is to always stay updated in the latest techniques and trends in the beauty industry.

+What do you feel is your greatest strength?
I believe my greatest strength is that I love making strong connections with whoever sits down in my chair. These people mean much more to me than just clients, they are my family. So everyday doesn't just feel like "another day at work."

+What advice do you have for other stylists?
The advice I have for other stylists is to never get discouraged if you make mistakes. We all start somewhere, and if you don't make mistakes how will you ever grow?

+What do you feel is the most valuable part of being a BCU member?
The most valuable part of being a BCU member is all of the great educational content!
